Before you buy a challenge. Prop firm challenges are paid evaluations, most traders don't pass, and fees are usually not refundable. Funded accounts are simulated and firms can change their rules. Only pay what you can afford to lose, read the firm's full rules first, and check whether paying an overseas firm is allowed where you live.

Our verdict

Blue Guardian is a Dubai-based firm founded in 2021 offering two-step, one-step and instant accounts with an 85% starting split. Trustpilot hides its rating after removing fake reviews, and a notable share of reviews cite payout delays.

Blue Guardian was founded in 2021 and is registered in Dubai. Its popular $100K two-step challenge asks for 8% in phase one and 4% in phase two, with a 4% daily loss limit and a fixed 8% overall limit, at least three trading days and no deadline. Those loss limits are tighter than the 5%/10% common elsewhere, which matters on a volatile instrument like gold. On the positive side, funded traders start at an 85% split, can withdraw every 14 days, and the challenge fee is refundable. News trading is allowed during evaluation, but funded and instant accounts may not trade five minutes either side of high-impact news. Weekend holding, expert advisors and copy trading are listed as permitted on the two-step model. The firm has not published a separate leverage figure for metals that could be verified; the maximum account leverage listed is 1:50. Platforms are MT5, Match-Trader and TradeLocker. Trustpilot currently hides Blue Guardian's star rating after removing fake reviews, and among the remaining reviews about one in five are one-star, often citing slow payouts or platform problems.
